HFLC School Grounds, Barangay Amsic, Angeles City — Humphrey Foundation Learning Center’s 22nd Foundation Week reached an inspiring conclusion with the highly anticipated Mr. and Ms. Foundation event, a festive fundraiser that brought the HFLC community together. This traditional closing event crowned this year’s Mr. and Ms. Foundation and served as a spirited finale, showcasing the talents and unity that define the HFLC experience.

The event began with encore performances from the Arts and Creativity Expo winners, setting an electrifying tone for the day. The Mighty Mavericks returned to perform their award-winning Choral Artistry piece captivating the audience once more. The Energetic Elites followed with a mesmerizing dance performance, and the Genius Squad closed the showcase with their harmonious Choir Sing-Off, receiving rounds of applause for their artistry and teamwork.

Following the performances, contestants for Mr. and Ms. Foundation took the stage, each representing their grade level with confidence and pride. The candidates were introduced to a cheering crowd and participated in rounds that highlighted their talents, poise, and dedication to HFLC’s values. Grade 5’s Ian Lance Beley and Grade 2’s Thea Gabrielle Calo were announced as this year’s Mr. and Ms. Foundation 2024, receiving their sashes, crowns, scepter, a bouquet of flowers, and the crowd's admiration. Both winners expressed excitement and gratitude for the support they received.

HFLC Principal Miss Sab Miranda praised the event, noting, "Mr. and Ms. Foundation is a celebration not only of our learners’ courage and character but also of our school’s close-knit community. Seeing everyone come together to support the cause behind it is truly inspiring."

As a fundraising event, Mr. and Ms. Foundation also underscored HFLC’s commitment to supporting its learners and programs. Proceeds from the event will go toward the acquisition of a top-of-the-line sound system, enhancing HFLC's auditory experience for future events and gatherings.
